Metal T-Posts, Erosion Posts & Grape Stakes
We can supply almost any weight, length and color of post that you require including unpainted erosion posts and grape stakes used in the vineyard industry.
Painted metal t-posts
Most painted posts we sell are green with cream or white tops. We can provide your posts with or without kick plates (also called a flange or spade). The most common weight of painted posts are .95, 1.01, 1.25 and 1.33 (pounds per linear foot) and the most popular lengths are 5ft, 5.5ft and 6ft. However, we can provide them in any length you require. Most posts are sold in units of 200 posts per bundle.
Unpainted (black) Metal Posts
These are often referred to as erosion posts or erosion stakes. They are "raw" unpainted posts and usually do not include a kick plate or clips. The most common weight of erosion posts are .85 (pounds per linear foot) and the most popular lengths are 45", 48" and 60". Most posts are sold in units of 200 posts per bundle.
Grapestakes (Unpainted)
Most times, these are the same as erosion posts or erosion stakes, but will sometimes have a kick plate. They are "raw" unpainted posts. The most common weights of grape stakes are .85 and .95 (pounds per linear foot) and are available in a variety of lengths. Studs on posts make it easy to attach wire without slipping. Most posts are sold in units of 200 posts per bundle.
“Hemp Posts” & “Cannabis posts”
With hemp now being a mainstay business and many states legalizing medical and recreational cannabis (marijuana) the demand and use of metal posts for outdoor grow operations is on the rise. While they are specifically hemp posts, cannabis posts or marijuana posts, our traditional painted t-posts and unpainted post (raw posts) and grapestakes are commonly used for outdoor cannabis farms. Common lengths for this use tend to be 6’ metal posts, 7’ metal posts and 8’ metal posts with a few hemp and cannabis farms using 10’ metal posts.
